Standard Atmosphere is a calculator that implements an idealised vertical distribution of atmospheric properties. Users can input altitude to find properties including air temperature, density and pressure there. It uses the most recent definition of standard atmosphere, US Standard Atmosphere 1976. This model is identical with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standard up to an altitude of 32km (104987ft).

Key features:
• Fully customisable choice of units for each property or use predefined SI and US units.
• Disable standard temperature to calculate density altitude and non-standard conditions.
• Covers atmosphere up to geometric altitude of 86km (282152ft).

Typical applications of the standard atmosphere include aircraft design and performance estimations. This application provides an alternative to interpolating printed tables or using charts.

Although the values provided by Standard Atmosphere have been thoroughly checked against the original US Standard Atmosphere 1976 report, their accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
